Mommy and Me Program

The "Mommy and Me Program" is specially designed for expectant mothers who are looking for some help preparing their dog and home for the arrival of a new baby.

Having a baby is one of the most exciting and possibly one of the most stressful times of a new parent's life. So much of your lives will change suddenly, and that includes your dog's schedule, routine, boundaries and expectations. Expectant moms have so much to think about when prepping to bring their new baby home; let us make preparing your fur baby (dog) easier and more seamless for you.

The best time to start preparing your dog for the arrival of your new baby is the moment you decide to have a baby. In reality, it's never too early to start. But there is such a thing as starting too late. Don't let that happen to you! We offer a variety of different training options for expectant moms/families to help make this process easier for you and your dog. This Mommy and Me Program is specifically designed to assist expectant moms and tailored to help your dog through real-world situations they will face once the baby comes.

If your busy schedule does not allow for time for in-home private lessons, feel free to review our Board and Train options and discuss during your evaluation.

What the Mommy and Me Program Includes: starting at $1,540.00, and up to $2,140.00 depending on number of days of boarding needed

6 in-home private lessons with e-collar
- place command
- loose leash walking/walking alongside a stroller
- crate training
- leave-it
- drop-it
- household manners
- how to introduce your dog to baby
- setting new rules and boundaries to keep dog and baby safe
2 day training sessions once baby is born to help with any issues the dog is experiencing with the baby's arrival.
- Day Training goals must be discussed with the trainer prior to booking.
Boarding for up to a week while you are having your baby and to help settle baby into your home.
- boarding will include upkeep of learned behaviors so that the dog returns ready to assimilate with the new baby.
  - if additional training is needed during boarding, please discuss with the trainer in advance

Access to the trainers cellphone number for support outside of lessons

Please note that all Mommy and Me clients will be conditioned to the e-collar to ensure consistency and success outside of the training program.

All training programs are required to start with a new client evaluation ($100.00).

You must provide up-to-date vaccination records, and food for your dog's stay for the boarding and day-training aspect of the program.

If your dog has a bite history or has shown issues with human aggression, you MUST disclose this during your evaluation.

Please note that eligibility for Boarding and Day Training will need to be discussed during the evaluation and booked ahead of time to secure your spot.
